LL.B. Three Years CBS Course

Eligibility Criteria for Admission to LL.B. 3 Yrs. Course

LL.B. Three Year Course consists of six semesters.

Subject to his/ her compliance with the provision of this Direction and of other Ordinance in force from time to time, the eligibility of an applicant for admission to the course shall be as under :-

1st Sem.

Graduate (3 years degree) with minimum 45% marks for open category 40% for candidates belonging to SC/ST categories. However, the University shall hold the entrance test (Online) for admission of the candidates who have secured 40% & above marks in the qualifying exams on request from the Principal of the College. SC/ST candidates shall be eligible for relaxation of 5% marks for the entrance test also.

LL.B. Five Years CBS Course

Eligibility Criteria for Admission to LL.B. 5 Yrs. Course

LL.B. Five Year Course consists of Ten Semesters.

LL.M. Two Years CBS Course

In each of the group 25 students will be admitted on merit. Each student taking admission to the LL.M course has to study FIVE compulsory foundation courses irrespective of the specialization which he/she has chosen. Out of the FIVE foundation courses, two foundation courses will be there in the first semester and one foundation course in second, third and fourth semester each.

Further in each group of specialization there are FOUR core courses which are required to be studied for that group. APART from the foundation and the core course papers, the students have to select and study one ELECTIVE paper in second, third and fourth semester each to be selected from the list of electives provided for each semester.

Therefore, any student pursuing LL.M CBCS course will have to study FIVE foundation courses, FOUR core courses and THREE elective courses.

  1. Group B- Constitutional Law and Administrative Law
  2. Group C- Intellectual Property Laws.
  3. Group D- Business Law
  4. Group G – Criminal Law

The candidates will have to prosecute regular full time course of study. For every theory paper/course the total marks will be 100 out of which 20 marks are for internal assessment and 80 marks are for university theory examination. The candidate will have to secure passing marks independently in both the university theory examination as well as in the Internal assessment.

About

The Central India College of Law has been granted an approval of affiliation by Bar Council of India, New Delhi for imparting LL.B. (3 yrs) as well as B.A.LL.B. (5 yrs.) course from the academic session 2006-07 onwards.
