College Facilities

Legal Aid Service Clinic: The students can participate in the legal aid activities organized by the Legal Aid Clinic established under the Maharashtra State Legal Aid & Advisory Board. Free Legal Aid is provided to the needy and weaker section of the society. Legal Aid camps would also be organised in the rural areas and all students are required to actively participate in such camps.

National Service Scheme (NSS): The College is having a regular unit of NSS students. Students must take part in this activity and render voluntary services to the society.

Debating Club: To inculcate the habit of public speaking among the students a Debating Club has been started in the College. The Club takes up programs like Debate, Elocution, Essay Writing, Mock Parliament, etc.

Moot Court Club: Moot Court Club is actively functioning in the College. To enhance law students in their future practice in Law, every LL.B. 3 yrs. students from the 1st Semester and for every LL.B. 5 yrs. students from the 5th Semester are required to participate in Moot Court which has been made compulsory.

Sports & Games: Facilities for participating in various sports and games are provided to the students.

Cultural Activities: Participation of students in Inter Collegiate Cultural Activities like Debate, Drama, Music, Fine Arts, Theater, Dance, Literacy events conducted by the RTMNU Nagpur University / Inter University / Zonal level / State / National level are organized on regular basis.

S.R.C. (Student's Representative Council): The Student's Representative Council is formed to organize co-curricular, extra-curricular & cultural activities in the College. This Council is functioning at College as per guidelines laid down by the University.

Book Bank: With the assistance of the Social Welfare Dept. of Govt. of Maharashtra, the College library is running a Book Bank for the students belonging to the SC & ST.

Environment Club: The club aims at inculcating the students to be sensitive to the environment. The club organizes activities like afforestation, cleaning the surroundings, etc. on regular basis.

Computer Practical Training Computer Lab: The students are required to attend at least one theory class on computer application and one practical period in the computer lab every week.

Library: The students are required to attend at least one lecture in library regarding study of ACJ, AIR, SCC and other reference books.

College Journal: In addition to College magazine, College brings out a journal in the name of "Themis" comprising research papers submitted by faculties & research scholars from various law colleges containing critical comments and articles on legal topics including judgments delivered by the Supreme Court and High Courts.

Canteen: The College runs a canteen to cater to needs of students and staff.

Student's Co-operative Society: To supply necessary stationary at subsidized rates, student's co-operative society is established by the College.

SRC Room: The College allots SRC room for Student's Representative Council members to assemble and have their regular meetings.

Sports and Sports Medicine Room: The College has Sports & Medicine Room for assembly of students and for medical check-up of students.

Reading Club: The Club is formed to promote & encourage reading habit among the students. The students collect paper and magazine clippings which are filed and kept with the in-charge of the club and made available to the students on request.

Grievance Cell: There are two grievance redressal cells one for the staff and the other for the students.

Suggestion Box: A suggestion box is kept outside the Principal's Chamber. Any student can put in suggestions regarding curricular and non-curricular activities which are periodically seen by the concerned Committee & the Principal, and proper actions are taken accordingly.

Guidance and Placement Cell: The College has a guidance and placement cell which helps the students to find job opportunities. Whenever any vacancy is notified and necessary guidance is imparted to needy students.

Guidance Centre for Judicial and Other Competitive Exams: The College has a guidance centre for preparing the students to appear for the judicial and other competitive exams like NET, SET, PET,MPSC, UPSC, Bank etc.


The Central India College of Law has been granted an approval of affiliation by Bar Council of India, New Delhi for imparting LL.B. (3 yrs) as well as B.A.LL.B. (5 yrs.) course from the academic session 2006-07 onwards.
